The Glocal University
Higher Education institutions (HEi) are identified as key players from both global and local perspectives, since they have the singular responsibility of giving adequate answers to both legitimate needs and interests. On the other side, HEi should contribute to the development and progress of their immediate societies, guaranteeing a positive impact on their region. Only HEi with glocal vision and mission can make compatible these two approaches.
