Given the circumstances caused by COVID-19, the Observatory of Bioethics and Law/ Chair of Bioethics of the University of Barcelona is launching a variety of communicative actions in order to increase public awareness of several bioethics’ issues regarding the management of rights, such as freedom and intimacy during emergency situations.
Dr. María Casado, director of the Observatory of Bioethics and Law (OBD), of the Master in Bioethics and Law and holder of the UNESCO Chair in Bioethics at the University of Barcelona, performs the following bioethical perspective about the COVID-19 pandemic:
