GUNi makes great strides to the 6th Report on Higher Education
- From 16 to 18 November, 2015 the Editorial Team for the next GUNi Report gathered in Barcelona in order to discuss and to advance on the next Higher Education in the World Report (HEIW6).
- Members reviewed contents and advanced on the guidelines taking new steps.

During three days the GUNI’s Editorial Team joined at the Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site in order to discuss and approach in-depth the next steps to be taken for the HEIW6. This was the second meeting this year for this next edition. Many topics were discussed including the list of authors, the Table of Contents and the Editorial Norms.
The meeting was attended by all members of the Editorial Team which is composed by: John Goddard, professor emeritus at the University of Newcastle, Ellen Hazelkorn, professor of Dublin Institute of Technology, Rajesh Tandon and Budd Hall, co-chairs of the UNESCO Chair in "Community-Based Research and Social Responsaibility”.
Furthermore, GUNi presented its different Working Groups, developed to give a broader and comprehensive analysis thoroughly the main topic of the new report which is the global and local engagement of higher education institutions. During these presentations the UNESCO Chairs Working Group Project and the Catalan “laboratory” on social impact were included.
