  • Alianza para el Día Después is a multi stakeholder platform built one year ago by Iberdrola, itdUPM, ISGlobal and REDS/SDSN.
  • Leader entities have decided to redirect this initiative to connect it with the COVID-19 crises by understanding that a solution to this global challenge can only be achieved by joining forces through cooperation and collective action.

The Global University Network for Innovation (GUNi) has joined the initiative Alianza para el Día Después (which has its origin in the Alianza Acelera 2030) a multi stakeholder platform built one year ago by Iberdrola (private sector), itdUPM and ISGlobal (academy and research) and REDS/SDSN (UN innovative networks) with the mission to raise awareness among society and all key stakeholders on the need to accelerate the implementation of the 2030 Agenda by incorporating all voices and visions.

Now, facing the COVID-19 crises, leader entities have decided to redirect this initiative to connect it with the situation in which our country and world in general is immersed, by understanding that a solution to this global challenge can only be achieved by joining forces through cooperation and collective action.

Alianza para el Día Después is an invitation to be part of a hybrid and multi actor space -temporarily digital- to reflect and act, analyse, anticipate and make proposals about the day after the crisis, acting from now on.

Together with GUNi, more than 50 entities have already integrated the initiative and four virtual communities (around the topics of transformation of cities, development cooperation, inequality & new economic model, ecosystems and health) have been launched.
