Editorial team & Concept Paper of the 6th HEIW Report
The Concept Paper intends to frame the work of the 6th Higher Education in the World Report (HEIW6) around a comprehensive analysis of the global and local engagement of higher education institutions (HEI). In addition, the Editorial Team is responsible of the general supervision of the HEIW, as well as of writing the concept paper, designing the table of contents and proposing skilled authors for each chapter, among others.

The conceptualization of the GUNi Report as a collective work resulted of a global and regional analysis of an specific issue related to higher education is leaded by an Editorial Team (ET). You can read this framework on the attached document at the end. The ET is composed of members of the GUNi Secretariat and guest editors specially selected for each issue.
The ET is responsible of the general supervision of the HEIW, as well as of writing the concept paper, designing the table of contents and proposing skilled authors for each chapter, among others.
For HEIW6, GUNi has incorporated to the ET the following guest editors:
John Goddard, Emeritus Professor of Regional Development Studies at Newcastle University UK. He was previously founding Director of the Centre for Urban and Regional Development Studies (CURDS). UK.
Budd Hall, Co-Director UNESCO Chair in Community-Based Research and Social Responsibility. University of Victoria, Canada, and guest editor of WRHE5.
Ellen Hazelkorn, Former Director of Research and Enterprise, and Dean of the Graduate Research School, Dublin Institute of Technology, Ireland. UK.
Rajesh Tandon, Co-Director UNESCO Chair in Community-Based Research and Social Responsibility. PRIA President, India, and guest editor of WRHE5.
