DIU organizes a hackathon for combating Covid-19
- The competition aims students to develop the best possible solutions to fight against the pandemic.

Daffodil International University (DIU), Bangladesh, is organizing the CoronaThon-19: A Hackathon for Combating Covid-19 that aims students to develop the best possible solutions to fight against the pandemic.
The competition will took place all over the world during 28-30 April, 2020. Students from Grade 10 to Post Graduation level will be eligible to compete online and solve the challenges brought on by the current pandemic. Winers will earn $25.000 to implement the idea. Each participant will get online certificates too. Registration deadline is 26 April, 2020.
This competition also wants to engage students in productive work during this lockdown period. It will help them to think outside of the box towards the real challenges too.
There are four fields (health, food & nutrition, education and service) and three categories: Artificial Intelligence (AI), Intertnet of Things (IoT) and Big Data. Besides the health and medication system, technology specially the AI based tools can play a vital role to fight against the current corona pandemic.
