Mission / Vision
To develop capacity for teacher education in Africa.
Goals
To help meet the objective of Education for All (EFA) programme of UNESCO by preparing qualified teachers and teacher educators for the school system of Africa through programmes of research, instruction and outreach activities using wherever possible new technology.
Main activities
Research and studies, Intensive training courses (on line and on site), seminars, workshops, producing newsletter, running electronic library, maintaining a website and a teacher education network (on line discussion and portal).
