Mission / Vision

Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań is fully

committed to:

  • Conducting research of global significance, capable of exerting a positive influence on the well-being of the local community and society in general and it draws on the knowledge accumulated in society and aspires to achieve highest levels of academic scholarship,
  • Providing multiple opportunities for AMU students to have access to high quality substantive international learning experience through first-hand exposure to teaching by visiting faculty from partner institutions, as well as study trips to partner academic centres abroad,
  • Establishing meaningful partnerships among our faculty and students with academic communities from higher education institutions from around the world, across disciplines, in scholarship, research, economic development projects and public diplomacy.

  • Transfer of knowledge to the local economy, facilitating cooperation with different enterprises and monitoring the job market
  • Support of academic entrepreneurship
  • Enhancement of activities of the AMU Careers Office
  • Strengthening and exploring ties with AMU alumni community
  • Developing and maintaining links and partnerships with the international business community, charity organisations and community/ NGO groups
  • Enhancing and maintaining ongoing relationships with AMU foreign alumni and using these links to promote opportunities for studies at AMU
