Mision / Vision
The mission of the University is to lean on the traditions of the world, European and Lithuanian universities in accordance with principles of democracy and respect for human values, to educate the society, to accumulate and cherish intellectual potential, to develop leaders capable of creating and introducing innovations determining a whole sided progress of science, culture and technologies, to disseminate knowledge and innovations.
Goals
Goals:
The main goal of the University is to become a competitive institution of higher education belonging to the international network of universities, offering joint study programmes, carrying out high level international scientific research work, attracting Lithuanian and foreign students, teachers and researchers, preparing specialists of high qualification in conformity to the needs of the state and labour market, ensuring unity of studies and science, developing international study exchanges, increasing integration in the Lithuanian and foreign academic community, creating conditions for continuous personal learning and applying modern management principles to the governance of the University.
Main activities
Main Activities
The University offers more than 70 different study programmes. Presently over 80% of study programmes have international accreditation.
Studies are carried out in the following faculties: Faculty of Economics and Finance Management, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Politics and Management, Faculty of Social Policy, Faculty of Social Informatics, Faculty of Public Security and Institute of Humanities.
Mykolas Romeris University cooperates with over 300 international institutions including universities, public and management institutions.
