Mission / Vision
Nowadays Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs is higher educational establishment of the 4-th level of accreditation. There are 36 professors and DSs, more than 350 asisstant professors, candidates of science who work at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and provide cadets and students’ effective training for all regional law enforcement agencies in Ukraine. MA and post-graduate courses are created at the University for training scientific and pedagogical personnel by 13 specialties. Four Specialized Academic Councils function for obtaining doctor and candidate scientific degrees.
Goals
Successes of the leading staff and personnel of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in guaranteeing a high quality specialists’ training for the whole law enforcement agencies of Ukraine, achievements in legislative and scientific activity are distinguished by the state.
Main activities
The University consists of six inner training and scientific institutes (of training specialists for investigative and interrogative units; of training specialists for criminal police units; of training specialists for public order units; of psychology, management, social and informational technologies; of part-time studies and distance learning; of law and mass communications), two outer law institutes (Kirovograd Law Institute, Kherson Law Institute) and one outer branch in Sumy.
