- All degree programs offered at JSMU, are with nominal fee structure and university offers huge scholarship both Need-based and merit-based to make the education affordable and accessible for all
- Higher education’s role in addressing major global challenges:
- Offering multiple awareness programs for the masses related to healthcare and bio-safety issues including the current pandemic of Covid 19.
- Offering tele-medicine clinic by Family Medicine department of JSMU.
- JSMU is offering an online course for doctors dealing with nCovid-19 pandemic situation in the country, one of the major global issues.

Social responsibility within higher education
JSMU has established students’ council and societies who work in collaboration with the Community Medicine departments of the university to carry out community outreach programs on regular basis.
