Mission / Vision
Its mission is to ensure and enhance the quality of university degrees and institutions in the Argentine university system through the evaluation and accreditation of the quality of the university programs and degrees offered.
Goals
Promove the Higher Education Quality with the Evaluation and Accreditation.
Promove a review of the relationship among governments, universities and society. Evaluation is considered as the most appropriate instrument to regulate universities and improve the quality of the education provided by these institutions.
Main activities
The main activities are:
- evaluate projects submitted by new public and private universities.
- To perform external evaluation of university institutions.
- To grant accreditation to government regulated undergraduate programs.
- To grant accreditation to graduate programs.
- To conduct evaluation processes for accreditation of private evaluation and accreditation organizations.
- It is also responsible for providing recognition to private agencies for university evaluation and accreditation
- Accreditation of Undergraduate Programs within the MERCOSUR Framework
