CV summary

Cristina Garcia joined the Catalan Association for Public Universities (ACUP) and the Global University Network for Innovation (GUNi) as Project Officer in December 2020. She is the local coordinator for the organisation of the 3rd UNESCO World Conference in Higher Education (WHEC2022). She is involved in regional and international projects, as well as EU funded projects (Horizon and Erasmus +) on RRI and community engagement. She is coordinating the GUNi World Report Special Issue to be presented in Barcelona at the WHEC2022.

Cristina has twenty years of experience in the field of internationalization of programs in Higher Education Institutions. Her main areas of expertise are related to program management and coordination of international admission processes for Master and PhD degrees at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), and Barcelona School of Economics (BSE).

Cristina holds a B.A. in French and English Studies (UB), a Master Degree in Quality Assessment and Management in Higher Education (UOC /AQU Catalunya), a Postgraduate Degree in International Relations (UAB-CIDOB) and a Postgraduate Degree in Literary Translation (UAB).
