Pau Alsina is Professor at the Arts and Humanities Department, Open University of Catalonia (UOC). Director of the Interdisciplinary Research Group DARTS (Design, Art, Technocience and Society) and Director of the Art, Science and Technology Magazine ARTNODES since 2002. Doctor of Philosophy at the UB, has written several books (Art, Science and Technology ; Plagues, Monsters and Chimeras ...), chapters and articles on the relationships between Art I Science as well as philosophical and contemporary scientific thought. He has curated symposia (Cultures of Change, Social Atoms ...) organized symposiums (Dalí and Science, Synergy, Art and Design by other Means, Media Archaeologies Evening ...) impelled and presided over congresses (Art Matters, Speculative Futures of Art , Political Interface ...) advised institutions (FECYT, Junta Andalucia, BBVA Foundation, Barcelona City Council, HANGAR, Estruch ...) or promoted international networks (YASMIN Mediterranean Network of Art and Science, Leonardo LABS).
