Moji Taibat Bakare-Odunola

Prof. Moji Taibat Bakare-Odunola was born in Offa, Kwara State, Nigeria on October 2, 1960; she is a Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and a lecturer at the University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. She graduated as a Biochemist in 1984 (and was a member of National Youth Service Corp in 1985). She obtained her M.Sc. and Ph.D in Pharmaceutical Chemistry in 1987 and 1992 respectively from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria. She started her academic career in the same university in 1987 as an assistant lecturer rising to the grade of Professorship in the year 2006. She however transferred her service to the University of Ilorin in 2012. She is currently the president of Science Association of Nigeria; a premier Association established in 1958 for all scientists in Nigeria. She is the coordinator of African Centre for Herbal Research. She has served in several committees and also in several capacities both within and outside the University. She has been external examiner within and outside the country.
