UAB coordinator for the Education Innovation Program Digital & Green Skills for a Sustainable Economy and Visitant Professor in the Wireless Communications research group
Jordi Verdú was born in Sabadell, in 1980. He received de M.S. degree in telecommunications engineering and Ph. D. degree from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) in 2006 and 2010, respectively.
From 2006 to 2010 he was member of the Antenna and Microwave Systems group, where he was involved in the research related with the Bulk Acoustic Wave devices design. He got the prize to the best Ph. D. Thesis from its department. In 2010 he was the coordinator of the RF Systems Group, at the European Spallation Source ESS-B in Bilbao. From 2011 to 2014 he was working under the fellowship program Beatriu de Pinós in the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Laussanne (EPFL). From 2015 to now, he is a Visitant Professor in the Wireless Communications research group. He is the UAB coordinator for the Education Innovation Program Digital & Green Skills for a Sustainable Economy where technological tools are addressed to non-technical profile students.
