Axel Didriksson is a full-time and permanent researcher at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), and at the Institute of Research on University and Education (IISUE). He holds a PhD in Economics, a Master’s Degree in Latin American Studies and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology (UNAM). He is National Researcher Level III of the National System of Researchers (SNI). He is also President of the Global University Network for Innovation (GUNI) for Latin America and the Caribbean (2013-2015 Secretary of Education of the Government of the Federal District - November 2006 - October 2009) and Member of the Management Committee of the National University of Education of Ecuador.
