The subject of this year's edition is “Transnational practices: the human body towards the global market”* and will be held next February 18th at the University of Barcelona 

X Seminar on Universal Declaration on Bioethics and Human Rights of UNESCO

The X Seminar on Universal Declaration on Bioethics and Human Rights of UNESCO will focus on the Article 21 of the Universal Declaration on Bioethics and Human Rights of UNESCO, Transnational practices. Through different lectures and panels sessions, the seminar will discuss issues such as the rights over one’s own body or the ethical implications regarding assisted human reproduction, donation and transplantation of organs and tissues.

The event is organized by the Bioethics and Law Observatory – UNESCO Chair in Bioethics from the University of Barcelona (UB) and will be held next February18th at the Faculty of Medicine at the UB.
