Third round of recruitment to participate in U-Multirank 2016
U- Multirank is a project financed by the European Commission as a tool for comparing university performance through different indicators and academic fields.
This project aims to show the performance of universities trough different activities and ranks them in selected academic fields.
At this edition there are five main dimensions covered by the following indicators: teaching and learning, regional engagement, knowledge transfer, international orientation and research. The academic fields for this year are Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, History, Sociology, and Social Work/Welfare. Through these indicators is possible to identify universities’ strengths and weaknesses that allows user to compare the performance of institutions.
U-Multirank is run by an international consortium of partners from 9 countries The CHE Centre for Higher Education in Gütersloh, Germany, and the Center for Higher Education Policy Studies (CHEPS) at the University of Twente, the Netherlands, are the lead partners in the project. The International Association of Universities (IAU) sits on U-Multirank Advisory Board. Currently it includes information about 900 higher education institutions, more than 1,000 faculties and 5,000 study programmes from 74 countries.
