Mision / Vision

The Colombian Cooperative University is an Institution of Higher Education, of social property, which for its origin and organization belongs to the Solidary Economy sector.

Its fundamental intentions are: the education of professionals with political, creative and solidary criteria that contribute to the harmonic development of the society; Research and Development linked to teaching, as contribution to the solution of scientific and social problems; and the Extension orientated to the public service and to the effective link with the productive sector. It gives formation in the fields of the sciences, the technologies and the humanities to undergraduate, graduate and non formal education levels, in an active and flexible environment of learning.

It is a University of national coverage, decentralized and opened for the world.

As university community, values the freedom, the solidarity, the equity and the respect to the diversity as foundation of the construction of a new society.
