Mision / Vision

The overall objective of this UNESCO Chair is to create a global society for researchers and academic staff working with PBL. This includes research and development activities, educational programs, consultancy activities, and the establishment of a global network for international cooperation and exchange of experiences.

  • Development of theories, methods and instrument for researching PBL
  • Development of various PBL-models based on PBL learning principles

EDUCATION AND TRAINING IN PBL

 

Providing education and training opportunities

  • Offering a one-year international Master Program on PBL based on part-time studies and distance learning
  • Offering single subject courses in PBL

 

INTERNATIONAL CONSULTANCY ON PBL

 

Offering consultancy services and course activities to support and sustain the process of change at universities and engineering colleges who wish to renew their educational concepts towards a PBL approach.

  • General capacity building programs for implementing PBL oriented and innovative approaches to teaching and learning
  • Consultancies at strategic level
