Action Research Methods: Plain and simple

This publication wants to assist Master’s level education students with practical and grounded approaches to the action research process, thus making it possible to understand methods and methodologies for acquiring and interpreting research data.

The author’s acknowledge that the methodology component is where most of the struggle and confusion lies with students in research methods courses. Thus, they want to make the process easier and include K-16 educators from a wide array of disciplines. At the end of each chapter, they offer some support exercises and application of the chapter concepts.
