Zinaida Fadeeva is an Associate Fellow for the Education for Sustainable Development Programme at the United Nations University Institute of Advanced Studies. Her main responsibilities include the undertaking of research projects and organising activities within the framework of the programme. Before joining UNU-IAS, she worked as Research Associate at the International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics at Lund University, Sweden. Her research activity was related to inter-organizational environmental management. Her work focused on building an understanding of structural, dynamic and contextual characteristics affecting the cross-sectoral networking process. She also investigated the role of networks as translators of sustainability ideas. She coordinated and taught courses on environmental management and worked extensively with the Eastern European industry, building their capacity for cleaner production and environmental management.
