Jonnaert Philip, Ph.D., is professor at the Department of Mathematics, University of Quebec at Montreal. After being director of the ORÉ (Observatoire des réformes en éducation), he currently holds the UNESCO Chair in curriculum development, the first francophone UNESCO Chair in Education in Canada. He has over 30 years of an international and inter-university carreer. Also has a rich experience on research and as professor at universities in Europe, Canada and Africa that led him to occupy management positions while remaining active in terms of scientific production. He is a founding member of the international network REF (Recherches-Éducation-Formation) and an international consultant. His numerous publications are directed towards issues relating to the analysis and development of education systems and curriculum.
