Natalia Orellana, is developing her professional career within the fields of communication and higher education management, research development. She has a Master degree in Higher Education from the International Centre of Higher Education Research and Development (INCHER-Kassel) at Kassel University (Germany), she also has a Licentiate Degree in Communication Sciences from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (Chile). She holds postgraduate qualifications on Organizational Communication from the Universidad Pompeu Fabra (Spain) and university leadership from the Carl von Ossietzky University, Oldenburg (Germany).
In 2009, she was awarded with a Deutsche Akademischer Austausch Dienst (DAAD) scholarship under the “Young Professionals with Relevance to Developing Countries” programme. She was responsible for the project that created the Bienal de Educación Superior y Mundo del Trabajo in Chile (BIESTRA), establishing a national forum of inter-institutional collaboration. Currently she is Coordinator of PHDs at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, project manager at OCIDES and collaborator of the Global Network for University Innovation (GUNi).
