Gulelat Desse obtained his MSc degree in Bulgaria and Doctoral degree from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand specializing in Food engineering and Postharvest Technology. Currently he is the Director of Food Science and Nutrition Program at Addis Ababa University. Twelve PhD students and 7 MSc students are working with him.
