Friedrich Zimmermann is chair at the department of Geography and Regional Science at University of Graz, Austria and president elected of the COPERNICUS Alliance. His research focuses on sustainable tourism and regional geography. He has been vice rector for research and knowledge transfer at University of Graz and has published the first sustainability report by Austrian University in 2006. Today he’s also chairing the sustainabilty4u committee of four Graz based universities aiming to promote sustainability in research, education, management and outreach.
