The mission of the Department of Teaching Staff Training is to ensure the psycho-pedagogical education and continuous training for Bachelor’s, Master’s students and higher education graduates who choose a teaching career, and also to offer psycho-pedagogical assistance to interested educational institutions. For all these:
it organizes the programme of study for level I and level II certification for the teaching career;
it organizes activities of continuous education and improvement of the specialty, psycho-pedagogical and methodological training of pre-university teachers, including teaching degrees: Basic Teacher’s Certification, Second Degree and First Degree in Teaching;
it ensures the necessary organizational framework for the competences required in the educational field research, both for tertiary and secondary education;
it ensures psycho-pedagogical and methodological assistance, upon request, for the Teachers' Training Centre, the County Board of Education, educational institutions of different levels and for any other stakeholders.
