UNESCO to organize a conference in Ghana in January 2013

UNESCO is planning a conference in Ghana in the last week of January 2013 regarding the use of General History of Africa (GHA) in Higher Education Institutions. The event wants to examine, through a multilateral dialogue, the current situation of History education at the university level in Africa, to consider how the GHA can be inserted where it is not used, and to assess how GHA courses can be harmonized at the under graduate, graduate and post-graduate levels.
