CLAYSS presents its Service-Learning Capacity Building Program for Higher Education, 2013 Edition
After years of success in Argentina and Latin America, the project is expanding to Eastern Europe
The Centro Latinoamericano de Aprendizaje y Servicio Solidario (CLAYSS) offers this faculty development and technical assistance program in order to promote the institutionalization of service-learning practices and programs, as well as articulating social engagement with engaged research and active learning. It wants to provide tools to help faculty professionals include service in their courses and research programs, as well as to encourage students to become agents of change.
The Program includes two on-site workshops, scholarships for CLAYSS’ online course, participation in the International Service-Learning Conference to be held in Buenos Aires in 2013, and the participation in an international research on the impact of service-learning in Higher Education.
