USM launches a Dialogue for African-Asian Academia
Representatives from Universities in Africa and Asia met in Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). to discuss the development of education in the two continents.
The Africa-Asia University Dialogue for Educational Development Network (A-A Dialogue) was held in the USM. The A-A Dialogue focused on three main clusters such as Teacher Professional Development, Gender and Equity, and Quality of Education and Educational Policy.
The Network A-A Dialogue was implemented in cooperation with UNESCO, the United Nations University (UNU), and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) with the Center for the Study of International Cooperation in Education (CICE), at the Hiroshima University, in Japan, where the secretariat is hosted.
The meeting’s objective was to evaluate the reports on the topics as well as to discuss and formulate the results of each cluster achieved through the A-A Dialogue.
