The University of Belize launches First Masters Program in Biodiversity Conservation & Sustainable Development
The University of Belize (UB) launched the University’s first Masters degree in Biodiversity Conservation & Sustainable Development at Central Campus, Belmopan.
The aim of this degree is to achieve a developing a graduate program that is relevant to meet the needs of Belize and the region.
The UB in partnership with the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, Trinidad & Tobago, the University of Guyana and Anton de Kom Universiteit van Suriname will offer the mixed-mode program in September. It is geared towards building and strengthening capacity in environmental management, biodiversity and sustainable development issues in the region.
