For the first time an European rector has been appointed President of this network that gathers 36 universities from Latin America and Europe.
On October 20, during the General Assembly held in Panamá, the UPC Rector, Antoni Giró was elected president of the network Centro Interuniversitario de Desarrollo (CINDA).

The new president will lead the network for 2 years and has the goal of increasing European representation and promote the reports that CINDA periodically publishes.
Founded 30 years ago, CINDA is a network composed by 36 univerisiteis from Europe and Latin America that aims to share knowledge in higher education policies and university management within the public sector.
