The movie Pequeñas Voces awarded in Cartagena Festival

Pequeñas Voces, a movie by the University of Los Andes (UNIANDES) was awarded in the Catagena Film Festival.

The movie is an animated documentary directed (and written) by Jairo Carrillo, Professor of Design at the Universidad de los Andes, with the codirection of Oscar Andrade, deals with a complex national reality. It is built with interviews and drawing workshops conducted with children from 8 to 13 who have grown up amid violence. Four children narrate their experiences and take the audience to delve into how they perceive the reality of the country. The stories are recreated using original drawings by children, who thus share their dreams and hopes.

Thus UNIANDES wants to commit with the dramatic circumstances of innocent victims in Colombia and seeks to awaken consciences of Colombian society.
