UNESCO Chair in Biosciences Ethics Established at the University of Khartoum, Sudan
The establishment of the UNESCO Chair could strengthen teaching and research programs related to the activities of the new center in the country’s capital.
In addition to the UNESCO Chair, a new branch of the Arab Science and Technology Foundation seeks to enhance the relations between universities and industry in the country. The UNESCO chair will also work to facilitate cooperation between the universities of Sudan and those in the rest of the continent and beyond, as well as begin to tackle the deficiency of technological capability in the country by increasing scientific research.
