QS releases list of world’s “best student cities”
QS has recently released its list of the top 50 cities in the world for student life, taking into account such variables as affordability, city size and quality of life.
This is the first ever ranking of student cities, as opposed to strictly ranking the universities themselves, although the quality of education was indeed taken into account. Data was collected from a range of different sources for every aspect in the ranking criteria before the final scores were tabulated. Three of the top five cities are European, with North America and Australia also making appearances at nos. three and four, respectively.
