CDS Pre-Conference Webinar Series – Community Measurement
A special issue of Community Development is also in the works to feature cities and regions that have innovated at measuring and documenting community development changes
As a warm up for this year’s edition of the Community Development Society (CDS) Conference, held last June 2012 in Cincinatti (United States), the Community Change Coalition (CCC) hosted a pre-conference workshop where participants were encouraged to explore new ideas, approaches and ways to develop knowledge and practice of community development topics worldwide. As a preparation for this event, three Webinars were presented in the subjects of Community Readiness, Community Capacity-Building, and Community Measurement (follow each link to access each Webinar).
The CCC is an organization integrated by 20 U.S. university-based researchers and community development practitioners that has met regularly in the past with the objective to improve at finding ways to help local leaders to enhance the quality of life in rural communities.
