The financing of universities

From 30 November to 2 December 2005 GUNi held the Second International Barcelona Conference on Higher Education on the financing of universities. The Conference was organized by GUNi and the Technical University of Catalonia (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya –UPC) within the activities included in the Higher Education Week.

The gathering brought together up to 400 participants, who arrived from the five continents. Higher education experts, university leaders, policy makers and practitioners from more than 60 countries discussed during three days about the key issues on financing, that universities have to face nowadays.
