Cristina Garcia joined the Catalan Association for Public Universities (ACUP) and the Global University Network for Innovation (GUNi) as Project Officer in December 2020. She is invoved in the coordination with UNESCO for the organisation of the 3rd UNESCO World Conference in Higher Education.
Cristina has been working in Higher Education Institutions for more than 18 years, where her main areas of expertise are internationalisation of programmes and international relations between partners and institutions. Her experience started at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) with the coordination of a PhD programme, followed by the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics (Barcelona GSE) where she coordinated the Master’s Admission department and the Study Abroad programme at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB).
Cristina holds a BA in French and English Studies by the Universitat de Barcelona (UB), a Postgraduate degree in International Relations by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and CIDOB, a Postgraduate degree in Literary Translation by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), and she is currently finishing a Master’s degree in Quality and Management in Higher Education at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC).
