CV summary

Martinez holds a PhD in Physics from the Autonomous University of Madrid, a Master's Degree in Business Administration from EADA Business School and a Master's Degree in Leadership and Science Management (joint program of UB, UAB and UPF). Since 2008, she has also been evaluating the National Agency for Evaluation and Prospective (ANEP) in the area of ​​Technology Transfer, and has published several monographs and scientific articles. Since April 2010 she was the manager and head of international relations at the Institute of Biomedical Research August Pi i Sunyer (IDIBAPS), where she also formalized strategic and framework agreements. Since 2015 she has been an associate professor of the Master’s Degree in Translational Medicine, in the Medicine Department of the University of Barcelona, ​​where she coordinates the module "Scientific communication and public engagement in science”. Previously, she was manager of the Clinical Foundation for Biomedical Research (2010-2013), manager of CIBERDEM at Carlos III Health Institute (2009-2010) and director of the Technical Office of the Pasqual Maragall Foundation for research on Alzheimer (2008-2009). She was also the director of the scientific area of ​​the Institute of Bioengineering of Catalonia, IBEC, manager of the nanobioengineering laboratory of the Reference Center for Bioengineering of Catalonia (CREBEC) and coordinator of the Support Services to Research of the Science Park of Madrid.
