CV summary

Mónica Figueras-Maz has a PhD in Journalism and holds a degree in Information Sciences and Sociology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. She is a full-time professor in the Department of Communication at Pompeu Fabra University (UPF). Her lines of research are youth and communication, media education and journalistic deontology and with special interest in the gender perspective. Since 2013 she is vice-chancellor at the UPF, first of Social Responsibility and currently of Social Commitment and Equality and among its attributions is the sustainability and mainstreaming of social commitment to university missions.
