Dr. Manju Panwar is the In Charge of the Department of Social Work, B. P S Women’s University, Sonipat, Haryana, India. She has the experience of over twelve years as Social Work Educator, Researcher and Practitioner. Her first book titled “Social Action- Experiences of Young Activist, Mittal Publications was reviewed by David Moxley, Professor of Community Practice and Social Action, University of Oklahoma, Norman and published in Journal of Community Practice, Taylor & Francis Group. She has completed University Grant
Commission minor research on “Impact of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) on Rural Women” and major research project titled “Impact Assessment of Integrated Child Development Services in Haryana”. Her area of interest include gender studies, community mobilization, Rural Development, university and community engagement. She has participated and presented papers in conferences, seminars, and workshops at the National and International levels. She had received Annual Award from National Award from National Dairy Research in Asia, Karnal for outstanding contribution in the capacity building Farm Women. She has also received National Cleanliness Education Promotion Award from the National Institute of Cleanliness Education and Research, New Delhi.

She is the core member of Consultative Group on the research A Fair Chance for Education Gendered Pathways University of Warwick, United Kingdom.
