CV summary

Karen Meixner left the UK with a degree in Modern Languages from the University of Durham in 1998 to do her Master’s degree with teacher training at the Karl Franzens University in Graz, Austria.  She currently works at the University of Applied Sciences Joanneum in Graz where she teaches courses within the department of Building, Energy and Society at the Institute of Social Work and the Institute of Energy, Mobility and Environmental Management. She is also responsible for coordinating student’s international work placements. The focus of her teaching and her research interests include international and intercultural social work, sustainable development and social work, and inclusion and diversity.
