Former executive committee member of the European Students' union and current student of the masters in Education policy and International development at Bristol University
Having studied education and sociology at Cardiff University in the UK, Beth went on to be elected as the education officer at Cardiff University students' union in 2012. From there, she was then elected first as deputy president of the National Union of Students Wales in 2013, and then president in 2014, where she spent two years representing over 350'000 students studying in post-16 education in Wales, and campaigning on educational issues. Beth has just finished her year as an elected executive committee member of the European Students' union, where she represented students studying in higher education across Europe. Whilst at ESU, Beth led the work of the organisation on the Sustainable Development Goals, working to involve students in their monitoring and implementation, and representing students within a number of UN and UNESCO meetings on the SDGs. Beth is currently finishing her masters in Education policy and International development at Bristol University in the UK.
