Technical Coordinator at the University Cooperation for Development Observatory (OCUD)
Ángel González Navas is PhD Candidate in International Relations at the Autonomous University of Madrid, where he previously got a law degree. He has worked in international development cooperation for the past fifteen years, both in official cooperation, as well as in non-governmental and university cooperation. He was a member of the Board of Trustees of the Spanish Network of Development NGOs from 2015 to 2018, and currently he is Associate Lecturer in International Law at the UC3M University.
From October 2018 he is the Technical Coordinator of the University Cooperation for Development Observatory (OCUD for its name in Spanish), the central node in the network of the development cooperation offices at the Spanish universities.
The Observatory, a project of the Spanish Conference of Rectors (CRUE for its name in Spanish) and the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, manages an integrated information system about University development cooperation; facilitates the exchange of experiences and knowledge between Spanish universities; and contributes to making more visible the University development cooperation performance and its achievements.
